Avocados contain more potassium than bananas! Avocados and flax seeds and are loaded with heart healthy fats.
- 1 small beet trimmed and peeled ((about 1 cup))
- 1 small apple cored and chopped
- 10-12 ounces unsweetened almond milk or water
- 1/2-1 cup frozen or fresh raspberries
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 small avocado
- 1 teaspoon flax seeds
- 1/2 juice fresh squeezed lemon
- 5-6 ice cubes
- optional unsweetened protein powder

Roughly chop the beet and apple.

Add all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Add more liquid if you desire a thinner smoothie.
