A Painful Past With a Powerful Future
This confident, strong & successful woman you see is not who I used to be.
9 1/2 years ago, a small U-Haul trailer held all of my worldly belongings, but there wasn’t a U-Haul big enough for all my pain and baggage.
As Austin was in my rear view mirror, so was abusive marriage #2. At this point all I thought was, “a 2 time loser!¨ what an utter loser and failure. Can I just turn my past mistakes & humiliation in when I return my U-Haul? Actually, can I just have a “fresh start” with my entire adult life?” If only it was that easy. The regret, remorse, guilt, shame were my constant companions that had diminished my self esteem and confidence.
Can you relate?
All I knew is that I did not want to be a victim… ever again! No matter how long or hard, I wanted to be strong.
Something deep inside me knew I was created for more but I had to change my thoughts and actions.
Taking massive personal responsibility, I went on a very messy and imperfect personal journey. It was time to deal with the baggage and limiting beliefs. As I did… something beautiful happened. An ember of “worth” started burning inside of me. As I got stronger, the desire to be Whole & Healed fanned the flames in my soul to run not walk and help other women find their worth too.
So, 9 1/2 years later, my first time back to Austin, I am flying first class, staying at the Four Seasons hotel and am a successful founding Pioneer Partner helping to launch an exciting new athleisure company that will be a billion dollar global company.
Sweet friend, God can use every bit of your pain for His glory and turn into a purpose and passion so much bigger than your wildest dreams. I left Austin broke and broken but returned a healed and whole successful woman, bursting gratitude, and genuine confidence.
My painful past birthed a powerful passion to help woman step into their purpose. If we allow Him, God will turn our ashes into something beautiful. He can take our painful past and make it our passion and purpose. It’s never too late to start.
Can I invite you to join me on an imperfect journey to be healed and whole. A journey that allows you to step into the woman you know you are meant be.
love,
